What makes a person "honorable" ?
To me, to be called honorable is one of the very highest compliments. To me, it means that a person consistently tries to do "the right thing" even when it is inconvenient. Of course, we can debate exactly what the right thing is in each given situation.

We read and witness so much dishonorable behavior. This post, I hope, will make me and a few others smile, in the midst of all the sludge emanating from DC. Thanks in advance for your time !

4. Honorable Grandparents
It is something that is passed down through what one generation teaches the next.
Honor your mother and father.

11. Hmm...
...I think a person is honorable when a person can accept the challenges before them without demanding more accolades than are warranted and without placing blame on anyone else for whatever hardships those challenges bring.

Most importantly, to be able to overcome previous adversities (including one's own dishonorable behavior) by accepting responsibility and exhibiting honorable behavior going forward.

It is what you expect from yourself, not what minor flaws you see in others.
