1. I can't keep up with these countries. Thanks! I have a question.
Several years ago, some radicals took over a theater and/or school. Were they from Georgia? I can't remember the details...just that there was a lot of hate and many deaths.

I was reading the comments on another article, and someone wrote -

"I was just in Atalanta today. What is going on in Georgia, and why aren't we doing something about it?"

On edit:

Here is the exact quote"

"I was just in Atlanta and I didn't hear anything about this? What part of Georgia is being attacked and why don't we do something about it?

Tex, Dallas, USA"

5. Rusa Goletiani played in the US Chess Championship in 2006
On the players' page, she answered the question "Where are you from? Georgia (not the state).

Georgia was a favorite place for Tamerlane to sack on his way to and from Anatolia. He kept ordering the Christian King of Georgia to convert to Islam and to make sure his subjects did likewise. The King ignored Tamerlane's command. Tamerlane would repeat the order and leave. On his next journey, he found that Georgia was still Christian. He'd sack it again,

To the best of my knowledge, General Sherman was not related to Tamerlane.

29. Ha Ha I get that joke!!! I love living in the most diverse place in the world
I was in a store with my friend Garen and he pointed to some spiced meat and made reference to a Woody Allen joke about "smelling like an Armenian". (I didn't know the joke)

Garen said its the spice and if you eat enough, it comes through your pores and boom! You smell like an Armenian. Only the old people like that meat. But I would probably like it cause I'm a crazy Irish guy who they have nicknamed "Hovik". (Johnny) B-)

While marching into the Bird's Nest last night I was trying to figure where all of these dudes came from. Got out my globe and attempted to pinpoint all 204 nations. Was it 204?
