Statement by President Bush After Church Service

Talk about putting on a big show of his "faith" again. This, after Jesus said "when you pray, go into your room and pray. Pray to your Father in secret...so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. If you're into that sort of thing.

Also....EDELWEISS??

BEIJING, August 10 /Christian Newswire/ -- The following is a statement by President Bush:

Beijing Kuanjie Protestant Christian Church

Beijing, People's Republic of China

9:07 A.M. (Local)

THE PRESIDENT: You know, I've just -- Laura and I just had the great joy and privilege of worshiping here in Beijing, China. You know, it just goes to show that God is universal, and God is love, and no state, man or woman should fear the influence of loving religion.

And I want to thank the pastor for his hospitality. And I want to thank this beautiful choir for singing Amazing Grace and Edelweiss. It was a touching moment. It's been a joy to worship here. Again, I want to thank you, sir, and God bless you. God bless you.

END 9:08 A.M. (Local)

1. too bad
Bush can't behave the way the bible tells him too.

Though even better would be for him to renounce his faith as the sham it is (i.e. to sway closed minded bigots from Bible lovin' county)

5. I think he should have to wear a giant sign around his neck that says that.
Pure poetry.

3. Oh please....
First off, he should not even be saying that shit and second, religion is the primary reason for most of the worlds suffering.
