Letter to the editor in this morning's Anchorage Daily News.
http://www.adn.com/opinion/letters/story/492021.htmlBush is exploring new lows
The fact that our Chimpanzee-in-Chief would proclaim conviction of Osama bin-Ladin's DRIVER for "aiding terrorism" as some sort of "victory" is proof of either this administration's unprecedented ineptness or that the "New Amerikkkan Century" criminal consortium never intended to go after al-Qaeda to begin with. (Wolfowitz pretty much spilled the beans in favor of the latter -- Iraqi oil was more interesting.)
C'mon, folks! Would Elliot Ness have proclaimed "victory" over Al Capone by sentencing his CHAUFFEUR to life in the slammer for unpaid parking tickets? Would the Earps have said "Yep, job well done!" and then sauntered away after hanging the OK Corral LIVERY BOY for watering the Clantons' horses?
If my job performance was such that I met its required objectives no better than this summa cum laude AA graduate and the cheesy criminals his evil daddy assigned him, my boss would fire me and then re-hire me so he could fire me AGAIN.
Perhaps many of my fellow Alaskans support Bush because they sympathize with a fellow alcoholic. Otherwise how could rational people tolerate this imbecile and his cronies for eight years?
Allah Shukr -- Thank God -- that alcohol consumption is illegal in my faith. We have to put up with enough idiots without chemically-inducing them.
