She was referring to McCain.

was trying to cover it up. I can't think of any examples right now though.

7. Except the way she phrased it HELPED McCain.
He was direct and "seemed to answer the questions before they were asked..."

Meaning, he was on his game.

as in

"this little piggy went to market, this little piggy...

17. No, you didn't imagine it...
...but you DID imagine it if anything appeared the least bit suspect.

This is a common tactic of mindwar.

Report what in any real-life instance would raise serious questions, while maintaining the facade of utter normalcy.

The dissonance between what would be a rational response and the mindless facade that is propagated is meant to leave one feeling disoriented and isolated amid a presumed consensus, such consensus generally having been established in advance and tending always in a certain direction.

The severity of these attacks vary in proportion to the degree of dissonance between the rational and the programmed facade. At one end of the scale, we have the day to day "news" distortions, at the other end we have the Secretary of Defense playing Florence Nightingale at the Pentagon on 9/11.

In all cases and at all times, no matter how blatant the assault on reason, the subtext is "everything is normal, go back to sleep". This demonic lullaby is accompanied by an implicit threat: "you don't want to end up like those crazy people, do you?".
