Let's ask the candidates what they intend to do about the homeless, the disgrace of flooded out buildings still dotting the landscape three years later, etc.

We can even do it "town hall" style to accommodate McCain, who likes to shuffle about while he's answering questions. I'm sure we can find twenty former residents of the Lower Ninth to ask the questions!

As a bonus, fast-talking Governor Jindal can stick aruond and answer some questions as well.

1. Of course not. If the crowd isn't full of rich white republicans, then it's biased...

2. I think equal time to those who make such decisions would be one with a Rabbi.
And then it would be, "That's enough forums."

"Real" forums never happen.

3. I'm planning on going to a Jindal Town Hall meeting tomorrow
in Jeanerette, and I thought I would ask him how his good friend from college Susan is doing, and find out how that exorcism thing he did worked out for her. I also have a scorecard I made to keep track of how many times I hear him say the word "Absolutely!" during the course of the meeting.....Oops! I mean show. :)

4. I was trying to think of an equivalent..
group that represented a supposedly large swath of the population. Labor Unions is the only thing I could come up with. No wonder why they say organization is the key to winning elections.

5. America and Americans would have to give a shit about Louisiana for that to happen.
And that's never going to happen.
