Ring the wedding bells!

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have tied the knot.

"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," their spokesperson tells PEOPLE exclusively.

DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark's Garden.

2. I attended a lesbian wedding at a private home in Los Angeles last weekend

It was lovely and so special. the couple jumped the broom after the ceremony in honor of the slaves who also weren't allowed to legally marry at one time in this country.

People who think these people shouldn't get married - well, they are pathetic.

What is it about this country that only straight people can be happy and share their dreams and lives?
Good luck to them, and Ellen may be 50, but she's cute as a button to this straight white old fat guy.
When you meet me for the first time, your almost guaranteed to think at first glance that I'm a right wing, homophobic, racist, asshole.

BOY, are you in for a surprise should you choose to engage me in a conversation where you espouse those views.
Many have come away standing stoned faced in shock after I've ripped them a new one.
Especially when it comes to LGBT issues.
When you look like I do, you begin to understand what's it's liked to be dismissed as "different".
