Burglars break into Coburg police station

COBURG — Some brazen burglars made off last week with the goods — from the Coburg Police Department.

Four Motorola handheld police radios and about 75 gold-plated U.S. presidential coins were among the items taken, according to the Oregon State Police, which is investigating.

A city employee discovered the burglary around 6 a.m. last Friday, state police said. The theft is believed to have occurred either late last Thursday or early last Friday.
