McCain, Obama agree on fall debates

WASHINGTON - John McCain and Barack Obama say they are agreeing to hold three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate this fall.

The first will be at the University of Mississippi on September 26th. It will focus on foreign policy and national security.

Another will be a town-hall style debate on October 7th at Belmont University. The last will be on domestic and economic policy on October 15th at Hofstra University.

Vice presidential contenders will meet October 2nd at Washington University in St. Louis.

Then again, Kerry kicked ass - and it gave him a spike in the polls only temporarily.

I am learning to not underestimate the powers of selective perception.

It's just interesting, to me, that this is the one site picked for the town-hall type setting.

7. It's not that bad. I have several friends who went to Belmont.
They were required to go to "chapel", but they said most students used it as a study hall and did their homework during it. It also has one of the best Music Business departments in the country, so you know what that means..... :evilgrin:
