Anyone catch this stupefyingly dumb caller on C-SPAN last night?

After Michelle Obama's speech, the C-SPAN talking head was taking calls from separate pro-Obama and pro-McCain phone lines. A woman got on, obviously via the McCain line, and proceeded to criticiize Obama for having incurred all kinds of debt to earn his college degree and then go to work as a community organizer instead of working for some Wall Street firm. Paraphrasing, "if this is how these people run their personal lives, then what kind of public policy can we expect from them?!"

So I chalked it up to what afflicts all these people--willful obtuseness. They *know* that one choice is better than another, but the opposite has to become true in order to create any basis to criticize a liberal. This is why conservatism is a form of mental illness (imo).
