Of course you were sweety.

That is the exact way she said it "a strong Democratic" when she obviously should have said "a strong Democrat".

2. I think it's pretty safe to call bullshit on anybody
that prefaces a negative comment with "I am a Democrat but..." especially if they use the term staunch, lifetime, strong or other term.

8. "And now I'm a weak Republican"
That would seem to be the logical conclusion.

9. In the 1960/70's racists consolidated in the Republican party, many moved
to the Republican party. Maybe like this lady.

11. Right, it started then, but really got consolidated in the 60's/70's.
When people say, "I used to be a strong Democrat, but now I'm a Republican" I automatically figure them to be a racist (maybe that's wrong of me, but that's what I usually think.)

12. The funniest part about it
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 10:35 AM by alcibiades_mystery
Somebody probably told her not to use the term "Democrat" as an adjective if she is impersonating a Democrat, since it's a dead giveaway. So this numbskull instead transposes that advice into "never use the term 'Democrat,'" and the result is her use of "Democratic" as a fucking noun. These people are fucking idiots.

13. This is like some of "hate mail of the day" that Al Franken used to read on his show
Some of them started with, "I used to be a Democrat but after listening to you I've switched to Republican".

Al used to be so heartbroken over this.:sarcasm:

It was pretty funny and pretty ridiculous that they thought anyone would believe them.
