8. The ONLY good thing to come out of that disaster

was that it opened a LOT of people's eyes to the travesty that is the Bush Administration - a nightmare we at DU had been aware of for years

Sad it took bungling of an epic proportion to alert the sheeple that the guy they most wanted to sit down and have a beer with was on a government-perverting and governement-destroying rampage.

9. I was a mod then, and spent hours looking for frustratedlefty to check back in

we (Anna and I) were going nutz till every one checked in

what a horrible week that was.

and there was a young girl whose parents were in Texas with Cindy and we were trying to get them hooked up too, they were freaking out because they couldn't reach the people who their daughter was staying with.

all turned out OK but it was stressful as hell and no way to really help.
