CNN Blitzer spin
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 10:31 PM by lostnfound
A benediction followed the speech, and the two women on with Blitzer said "I guess we need to pause for the benediction now"; for a few seconds you could hear the start of a benediction but then Blitzer cut it off, began saying that 'the Democratic convention is now history, after some speeches, and some great music', and something to the effect of 'we'll see if they can really pull this off; talking about (winning) is easy but doing it is alot harder' and then switched to a commercial break.

Rule #1 for the Republican spin machine: Democrats must be seen as universally anti-religious. So he turns down the sound and switches to a commercial when a preacher is on. Any chance he would do that for the GOP?

Rule #2 is to write it all off as "just talk" and pretend that it's hard to imagine that the Dems could possibly win.

What a low-life crumb Blitzer is.

Obama's speech, what I saw of it, was beautiful and moving.

2. Keith Olbermann on the other hand just pointed out the spin in an AP brief
He even named the writer, and said that it has just come across the wires, and that it 'bears no resemblance to the speech we just heard', and that the writer should find a new job.

Thank you, Keith.

4. Any resemblance between Wolf Blitzer and a journalist is purely coincidental....
..... He's a completely useless sack of flesh that should be thankful everyday he's not serving Dunkin' Donuts.
