Senators Hagel & Warner: Will HAL PAC $$$ Influence Vote to Investigate Dubai HQ Move?
Edited on Sun Mar-11-07 06:55 PM by CorpGovActivist
Virginia Senator John Warner - who may face a very tough reelection bid in 08 - is among those who received sizable campaign contributions from the Halliburton PAC in 06: http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/com_supopp/C00035691/

The PAC was very active in 06: see the contributions to the National Republican congressional committees.

Its past donors include Dick Cheney, and IAP exec Charles Dominy: http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/com_ind/C00035691/

With his scheduled announcement for the presidential bid tomorrow, Senator Chuck Hagel may also wish to consider giving the money back.

FYI...

Best to all,

- Dave

P.S. The Halliburton PAC money-funneling to the Business-Industry PAC was noteworthy, too: http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/com_detail/C00001727/

3. Are foreign-based corporations allowed to donate to American elections?
Hmm. Dubai. The guys who bought our ports.

So what does this make Halliburton? Fifth columnists? They certainly infiltrated the American system for fun and profit.
