My brother-in-law, who is gay, is marrying his partner....
In California (In October).

Were they in Alaska, this could not happen for them. Should the thugs win it may not be able to happen anywhere.

palin-drone, mcinsane, and crew oppose people of the same sex being able to marry and have a life together - they feel threatened by it for some fucked up reason.

These people who spout off about freedom, about kids having two parents, etc oppose gays adopting and marrying. They oppose two adults who love each other being able to have the same rights as most the rest of us do.

Here in the big tent we accept that her daughter is pregnant at a young age, we got her back on that and don't condemn her or her BF for what all happened.

Teens have sex. Gay people exist. Trying to alter all that to fit their reality is not working nor will it ever.

Education and equal rights. She and mclame oppose those things.

I don't need to know anything else about them - but sadly so many swing voters do.

We have a war on our hands with the right in this country - I want them to be free enough to practice their religion (and I say this as a Christian myself) but I don't want them using their faith to tell others how to live.

Jesus did not tell his followers to go out and change the laws of rome, to get elected and push through legislation, he wanted them to tell the good news and change the hearts and minds of others and to be in the world not of it.

Funny how they forget or ignore what Jesus didn't say about things. If you believe - follow and live your life accordingly, if not then it was not the business of the church.

The amish do just fine without us and our laws, they don't care what we make legal or illegal as long as they are free to pursue their beliefs.

Have your beliefs, live them, embrace them. Just don't make the rest of us subject to them.

We fought a war to be free from such things, and if it comes down to it we will fight another.

And I will be on the side of freedom.
