to the people of Alaska, and the oil companies wanted the funds for something else, I am just guessing here.

Listen, Palin is sooo popular in Alaska because every year each Alaskan, man, woman or child, gets a 3K check in the mail from the oil revenues.

Alaska is the most corrupt state in the union, and it is rife with nepotism, etc. Frank Murkowski named his own daughter to fill his Senate seat. He was already on his way out when Sarah gave him a "little push out the door".......they make her out to be tougher than she is.
