i probably do it too, but there is a part of Palin's speech pattern makes me crazy..

it's this:

dropping the final 'g' on verbs.

Like: "We were thinkin' about flyin' down here in Todd's little Piper and rammin' through some freakin' phony language junk.

This probably makes me an elitist, but so be it. I can't imagine -- well, maybe I can --- the veep bein' inaugurated with this goofy speech pattern

1. After 8 years of Bush's butchery of the English Language, droppin'
the "g" is a minor thing.

I just wish she would lose the shreaky and shrill voice. Fuckin grates on my nerves!

24. the beverly bimbo
come and listen to my story 'bout a gal named Sare
the poor gal could barely keep her girl outta bed

then one day they were shootin' at some moose
and up from the ground came a bubblin' crude

Sarah, that is,
talibornagain,
to a tee.

So the next thing you know Palin's the vp gal
Dobson said, "Sarah, move away from there!"
He said "DC is the place you oughta be!"

so they loaded up the truck to create theocracy

lyin' crook
hockey mom

7. And her grammar is terrible.
people who use phrases like "in terms of" when the phrase is not called for. She's the kind of person who always screws up the "number of" "amount of" question... "There were a number of people in that study" gets confused with "the amount of people who support me."

That sort of thing. She screws this kind of stuff up all the time. Makes me effing crazy. Not to sound unsympathetic to people who never got a decent education, but I want the smartest, most articulate, and educated person leading my country. Palin is so far from fitting that description it's scary.

30. Today I heard her say...
"Oil, of course its a fungible commodity and they don't flag the molecules where its going and where its not, but in the, in the sense of the Congress today they know there are very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first" whatever the hell that means.

"in the sense of the congress today they know..." is the phrase the really bugs me. She doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.

8. Chimpy does it too...makes him seem "folksy." The tongue clicking
she does before most sentences is what drives me insane.
That and her totally banal repetitive BS talking points.

15. Eeeewwwwww, eesh, I hadn't noticed that; I try not to watch her at
all, she's not worth my time. I do read transcripts of the shit she says, and I've seen clips of her, but since her recitation of talking points via teleprompter at the RNC, I've tried not to listen to her at all. She's repulsive.

23. That's the high school 'elitist' in them ... smirking at the other petty, snickering sociopaths/
As they're vandalizing the school and have their cronies outside slashing the teacher's tires, one of 'em stands up and give a book report that they mugged another student (a nerd) for.

It's the idea that they're getting away with crimes and think it's funny.

Sociopathic. (People with that smarmy attitude didn't survive a single week in boot camp or basic "back in the day.")

however, I am not running for VP. It may not indicate ignorance (after all, I'm guilty too) but it certainly sounds ignorant.

21. Don't forget "Nukular"
which seems to be a prerequisite for being a conservative ass clown. I think it was Reagan that started it, but now it seems to be a point of pride among Republicans to pronounce it noo-cue-lur.

And yes, her voice is truly scrotum-wrinkling.
