The Dems should tell Bush, take it or leave it
Bush tells the American people if we don't act quickly, the economy will implode.

So, the Dem's control Congress. Give his secretary the money with congressional oversight, no money for CEOs, help for middle class Americans, repeal of the bankruptcy act of 2005, and a stimulus package with infrastructure improvements. Send it to his desk and let him veto it if he wants. Fuck him

Force him to make some concessions. I'll be the first time he's ever had to. If he chooses to veto a bill that includes some regulation of the bailout, the Republicans will be crucified at the polls, especially if the vote on the bill is along part lines.
