Inspired by Ioo's thread: How about a DU group for those of us looking for jobs?
Half the time you see an ad in the paper or online, it has already been filled. Sometimes, a person can get lucky just by having a friend or relative who knows about a future position opening.

Lots of eyes helping you search. And, then there is that emotional support too.

What say you? Would there be enough interest in such a group?

Good luck to you Ioo.

1. Good idea, esp. for jobs with a political slant. Is there a Career forum?
I remember I posted a job somewhere on DU, can't remember if it was Marketplace or a Career forum.

I checked for groups with employment and job in the titles, but not career. Maybe this one could be a sort of "sub-group", where people could post what they need by job title, location, experience...?
