McCain's response about the Lettermen "bailout"

I was flipping the channels and caught McCain's interview at his Sedona ranch on Entertainment Tonight and this is what he had to say:

"I hope Dave forgives me" "I'm asking my son who is a Marine to let me borrow his flak jacket and Dave lets me come back on his show."

He also credits Cindy for convincing him into picking Sarah.

3. It was a couples type of interview

Friendly, soft ball questions with McCain and his wife.

His wife was saying something along the lines like "we've talked about her for months" blah blah blah pointed out her ability to "balance work, life, and family."

If I were Dave I would say "hell no!!" I would just keep ripping on him day after day. McCain is such a loser. The guy is so out of touch with reality. Lead through the nose by his emotions and whims. Not presidential material at all.

She pretty much upheld his statement by saying 'we've talked about her for months' ...... 'she's done alot while balancing "life, work, family"
