Anti-war and anti-death penalty activists are "fringe people", says former MD State Police head.
This was Bob Ehrlich's (R-defeated) former State Police Supertendant, defending a spying program which resulted in activists ending up on a terror watch list for nothing more than exercising their first amendment rights. Of course the super says the good hair former governor knew nothing about it. In today's WP.

1. fringe or not (debatable, for sure) if they've broken no law, they should be on no list
period.

The person who broke the law was this fascist thug, IMO.
