Could the media be hurting the McCain campaign by showing Palin at her most rabid?

You have to admit that if the media didn't cover her at all they'd catch hell from the Repub party.

As such, why can't the constant showing of her true personality be presented as something similar to the media showing her interview gaffes constantly? Morning Bender Joe and Mika Mouse are the only ones who seem still impressed with her and their show's in the crapper so it's not like anyone hears their praise.

And for all McCain's fumbling I think he still desires a relationship with the press. However, Palin's the one that's basically declaring war on the media and it's her crowds that are threatening reporters.

Yes, Obama/Biden have to respond back to some of the more ludicrous charges but why is constant coverage of Palin a bad thing if seen from this angle?
