After Obama gets elected there is a very good chance that Hillary will be tapped to
push through Health Care reforms. What will be the attacks against her Health Care Plan and exactly how does it differ from Obama's Plan? I suspect she will create a combination of the two plans and present it to Congress. What are the negatives the Republicans will start harping on besides "Big Government Takeover" or "Socialized Medicine". are there any specifics that people just can't get behind?

1. There are four people I want to see working on the Health Bill: Hillary,
Edward Kennedy, Elizabeth Edwards and Dennis K. All of them have strong reasons for working together.

2. I certainly hope not
I'd much rather see a true UHC plan along the lines of Kucinich's proposal instead of these corporately controlled for profit models.

8. Obama's plan is certainly not UHC or anything like single-payer
So unless you think he's lying about his own intentions, there's no point in hoping for anything Kucinich-like. Hillary's proposals on healthcare were a little better than Obama's, IMHO.

11. Well d'uh
Thanks Captain Obvious. I was simply stating that I would rather not go down the corporate road, and a Clinton appointment would insure that. Gee, is it asking too much to have a liberal tossed a bone once in awhile, after all, we're Dems just like you, and working just as hard if not harder to put Obama into office. Or are you one of those centerists who like to placate the left with kind words now and ignore us later?

4. Afer Hillary's last botch of an attempt at this?
I don't think so. They don't want her anywhere near this issue.

5. Wrong....it's Daschle's job if he wants it...and he WANTS it.

Obama knows EXACTLY who has been most instrumental to his success, even though the corpmedia and most Dems still do not.

12. Obama said in no uncertain terms Hillary would be a part of his Health care Plans.
I don't know if he has others in mind as well but he made that announcement when Hillary gave her concession speech. He said they would work closely together on this issue.

13. So? That doesn't change the behind the scenes dynamic of the last 3 years, does it?

6. Hillary should get Harry's job
Harry Reid needs to go - and Hillary would make a great Senate leader who then could do things like get universal health care through. IMO....

7. I could agree with that,

talk about a strong Democrat as Majority Leader, Hillary certainly would fit that job very well. I think I could really enjoy seeing her rip into McChinless on the Senate floor, that is if he manages to get reelected.

10. Making any provisions to retain the health care denial industry. Any plan that accommodates their
continued theft is just not acceptable.

14. re: "socialized" medicine
what is the big deal anyway when we are already "socialized" in so many other areas - our police, fire services, schools, libraries, parks and highways, etc. are all socialized - everybody pays so everybody benefits - so why NOT medicine, too? i don't understand the objections.
