A new Granddaughter...
I just got some great news from my son in Reno, Nevada today. We have a new grandchild baby girl London.
He also gave me a second gift. He confirmed his and his wife Will vote for Obama.
My son is an ex-marine and is registered republican. He has now come back into the fold.
We have not agreed on politics since his boot camp days.
Thank you Mcshame and palin for opening my son's eyes.
He also states Obama is leading in Nv by 4 points and expects it to grow.

and Ready to Go for Obama!

Our conversation opened with THEM telling ME the list of courses that Palin took when she attended those 5-6 colleges.

Ooooops!!: Congratulations on the grandchild! (I'm jelous, still at 0 in that generation.)

17. I just had door-knockers at my house.
I now have a new Obama sign in my front yard! They said that walking the neighborhood was going very well but acknowledged Texas is very, very red. I am beginning to see a few more McSame/Failin bumper stickers but not a whole lot.

21. yes my son never agreed with Bush or McCain...
he just had trouble thinking his party was sooooo wrong.
Military indoctrinates you when you are young and it has been a struggle getting him to understand that the Dem's support the military too.
He was a fan of Ike's so logic finally set in.

12. It's grandma and yes I'm floating...
I have been working on him for some time now. He has been against the war from the beginning but it has taken some time to change his mind in regards to his party.
Palin and her hate mongering drove the final nail in the coffin.

10. Congratulations twice
Solid upbringing will always win out over propaganda and indoctrination eventually.

You gave your son the tools he needed to be able to see through the idiocy about the GOP being pro military: they're pro military contractor and anti soldier.

Enjoy your double gift today!

20. It must be all that "liberal" thinking...
keeps you young.
Thanks for the compliment am 56 and proud of it.
My oldest boy became a father at an early age and raised the two older girls as a single father, with my help until he met his beautiful wife. She stepped up and is a wonderful mother.
