Just got back from phonebanking for "No on Prop 8"

I feel energized and hopeful now.

I will not be able to participate in any GOTV activities because I will be in the hospital. I have already voted, and felt like I was not doing enough. Now I feel like I have done something tangible.

I would urge everyone here to participate in some form of GOTV activity between now and Tuesday. It is really a great thing to do and very gratifying.

We just got a phone call urging us a few minutess ago.

The NAACP sent out a strong endorsement for NO on 8 yesterday, by mail.

6. The vibe at the OC phonebank was cautiously optimistic.

It was nice to be in a room of over 80 OC residents as energized about this as I am. Both my husband and I went and brought our daughter (and her Nintendo DS).
