It always struck me as a kind of e-redoubt for American political refugees. With the landslide unfolding today, there will no longer be a need for refuge, and I expect that while DU will grow, many here will go on to bigger and better things. So a Democratic victory will be bittersweet. Well, okay, not so much bitter, more sweet. :D
