"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." (Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790))

As the people have started to examine the mechanics of their elections, we are seeing not only the restoration of Democracy in this nation, but are also seeing some of the Rovian rigging dismantled. We lambs must continue to contest in order to clean up the rest of the mess!

2. Also a good one.
Burke is one of the great masters of pithy statements.

3. Conservatroids have the gall to claim Burke as one of their own.
"Conservative" meant something a lot different (and more honorable) in his day.
