Granted, I’m on the right, and most of my friends are also. But I’ve never known people so terrified. They fear we are losing the great American nation that has always been independant, enterprising and free spirited. They see us drowning in the European morass of depressing, imprisioning socialism.

I had a nightmare last night. I dreamed I was driving a new SUV, and I hit a Black Panther agitator. He ran around the car and turned into a lawyer, yelling that he was going to sue me until I died.

I can’t be the only one having such dreams.

Yeah, so I went to France last summer. Everybody seemed so happy and upbeat and EDUCATED! I didn't meet a single moron. Even the taxi drivers seemed thoughtful and informed. They all have great cheap health care and 3 months of vacation every year. And REAL food, not endless plastic crap served by sullen oppressed minimum wage workers. I've never been somewhere I wanted to live more - seriously, I cried when I had to get on the plane to come home. It seemed like such a great lifestyle (emphasis on "life" - such an amazing change from be ignorant, work your ass off, and eat lots of crap till you die America)

If that's representative of what Obama will bring for this nation, well, hell, bring on the "depressing, imprisoning socialism".

These people are so full of shit. Seriously. I wonder sometimes if any of them have ever been outside of their own city limits. Depressing, imprisoning socialism, my ass. What a bunch of maroons.

On edit: he definitely needs to get out more - his ignorant RW friends are not an example of what America really thinks about stuff anymore. My libertarian parents in Idaho voted for Obama. All of my elderly in-laws in rural Louisiana voted for Obama. I have 3 very conservative friends in New York who voted for Obama, the first vote for a Democrat any of them had ever cast. The times, they are a changing, my friends...
