I have not been around for awhile for personal reasons - But I wanted to post this today:

I have been on DU for a little over 4 years and it has been a refuge for me, and now we finally have a Dem moving into the white house and congress is more blue now than I ever thought I would see.

I can't donate right now, but if you can please do - DU has been here for us all for a long time - and our work has just begun and we need to keep DU up and running.

I want to thank all my friends here for your support over the years, and maybe I will fill you all in on the details of why I have been gone soon. Just not right now - but when I do I know I can trust my friends here to be there for me.

Don't let this beacon on the net stop shining, it means too much to too many.

I hope soon my life will be 'normal' again, but it has changed forever in some ways, but I need to be able to come here and vent - it's my own personal therapy - so please, even if it is a little bit toss in some change to keep the lights on...cause I really need you all right now and I want to know that when I am able to talk about it all I will have some place to do it.
