I just made a contribution to the ACLU

and did it ever make me feel GOOD!

I can't do a lot, but my little bit added to a lot of other little bits can make a difference!

What little bit have you done lately?

I am both a member of the ACLU for 32 years, and also a recipient of their support. My case went all the way to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. They ruled that the picket line I participated in was protected speech as defined in the Pennsylvania Constitution. I was not able to pay for the appeals myself, but thanks to a wonderful local lawyer who took no money for 3 or 4 years of work on the case, and the ACLU of Pennsylvania who helped with the costs, my case was won.
