BULLSHIT

http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20081209/pl_politico/16392

why will it test Obama? He had nothing to do with it, in fact his team exposed it

These pompous asses

Where was their opinion when we invaded a country based on a lie?

1. Why do you think Rahm tipped off the Feds?
Once he heard of it, it had to cut cords ASAP

6. That's the *buzz* on politico.com right now
But it could be just that, just buzz...but it makes sense to me. Rahm protected the Clintons like he would've himself. He will do no less for Obama.

2. Wright and Rezko didn't destroy his candidacy, and Blago won't
even scratch his Presidency.

5. Silver Lining for PE Obama:
Great opportunity to implement what he has been saying on the campaign about changing the old ways of Wash politics. Now, he can say, "As we clean up corrupting influences on Washington politics, we must be sure to clean up Chicago and Illinois corruption as well."

Three prior Illinois govenors since 1972 indicted and jailed on corrution charges. Now, likeley a fourth. No chance now that Ryan will be pardoned.

Also, Obama can now allow an election to determine the next Senator and he can stay out of it directly. Clearly, one of the five candidates Blogo considered, took the bait (pay to play
)and is now history - we will know soon enough! This actually makes it easier for Obama.

No doubt this comes at a bad time for Obama, but better now than after a Senate replacement named and sworn in and before the inauguration.

How about Patrick Fitzgerald, Chicago's modern Elliot Nest, for FBI director!

10. I'm sure the Rethugs would have thought early Nov. to be more convenient
for their purposes.

Good for Fitzgerald, for not turning this into a November surprise.
