How is that investigation coming along into identifying the Wal Mart tramplers?

Wal Mart should be held liable for negligence, but criminal charges should also be levied against the people--yes, that's right, the ordinary working people--that triggered this mob. Just because Wal Mart is guilty of criminal negligence does not mean that the savage pigs in the mob are somehow blameless.

We can walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.

I don't care if they are working class people either. Being working class does not make one the Salt of the Earth.

Wal Mart deserves plenty of blame, and they should pay, but so should the rank and file people in the mob. They should be identified, hunted down and apprehended.

1. Never going to happen.
Life isn't like CSI. You can't necessarily deconstruct every event to find the people involved. And you assume that most of the people in the crowd had anything to do with it other than being pushed along in a crowd.

3. I Feel the Same Way, Except for One Thing
I'ts very likely the people who did the trampling were being pushed from behind and had no real option. The people in back doing the pushing couldn't see what was going on.

There have been other crowd trampling deaths -- I seem to remember a concert in Cincinnati and a soccer game in Scotland -- and that's what generally happens. It is very dangerous to press forward in a mob because it creates more force than any one person can withstand. The people in front end up being carried along, except their feet have to go somewhere.
