How the shoe is viewed here in Freep central.
I spent most of the last 2 days in the Labor/Delivery waiting room of Kennestone Hospital. Located deep in the heart of Freep central, Georgia. CNN has managed to show "they shoe" consistently during meal times - and the cafeteria at Kennestone was maxed out about every meal the last 2 days.

I can report that the Freeps in Freep central were almost all of these fighting hard not to bust out laughing or even cheer for the thrower as a hero. I was actually quite surprised at how disliked Bush is now here in Freepcity.

1. Freep Central?
This isn't very objective. Cobb County went for Obama 45 to 54. That means that for every 20 people in your cafeteria sample, 9 voted Obama and 11 voted McCain.

What did you do next, run out to the parking lot to see if they drove an SUV?

4. Kennesaw - Yes Freeps.
With apologies to the hunters amongst us here at the DU.

http://www.rense.com/general9/gunlaw.htm

KENNESAW, Ga - Several Kennesaw officials attribute a drop in crime in the city over the past two decades to a law that requires residents to have a gun in the house.

In 1982, the Kennesaw City Council unanimously passed a law requiring heads of households to own at least one firearm with ammunition.

6. So, how do you know
if the individuals whose behavior you observed in the cafeteria were gun-owning Freepers or simply gun-owning Obama supporters?

I think science is suffering here.

13. Er
Science?

Anecdotal is hardly intended to be science. That's your problem right there.

15. Anecdotal...
Fine. So it's not intended to mean much at all. That helps us put appropriate weight on it.

7. A friend of mine moved to Cobb, from NJ.
He says he cannot believe the stuff he heard from otherwise normal and respectable looking people, about Obama, during the election cycle.

16. Oh please, anyone that has ever lived in Cobb Country knows exactly what the OP is about.
This is the district where Newt's Democratic opponent was reduced to standing on street corners wearing a sandwich board in an attempt to get his name out there, and Kennesaw was even more reactionary than Marietta.

9. The big question is.....Sooooo?...Was it a boy or a girl?
Or did I read this wrong and you work there.

If not, share the good news.

And, an end note, the freeps you were around might not be so freeperish anymore....the ones on the actual site have scrubbed any mention of it...hence, they no likey.
