I love church bells; clanging, banging, ringing church bells. Christmas is a time for the ringing of church bells. In that spirit, here is a rhyme - an English children's nursery rhyme with which I'm certain you are familiar. I especially like the last two lines. I find them, um, prophetic? anticipatory? scary?

52. It was cloudy and chilly here most of the day today. The sun came out

at around 1:30 this afternoon. I'm still thinking about knitting a blanket with pockets for the kitties. They provide so much warmth, but that makes it feel even colder when they leave - the pockets are to keep them from leaving. I'm thinking of lining the pockets with Gortex to prevent puncture wounds.

Pod and Peewee are short-hairs, and they feel positively wiry next to their brother. We have a Furminator we use on the girls, but Sir D's coat is so fine it doesn't work on him. He really is quite debonair!
