and all I found was a bunch of whining, bitching people. Nothing about anything that Obama does makes them happy. If they feel that way, maybe they should frequent that "other" site more and leave a this place to people who like to read the progress he's been making in choosing the team who will help push this country forward. We all trusted him enough to elect him, how let's let him do his stuff. After he takes office and trips up, there's plenty of time to gripe, piss and moan, email the powers that be and in general raise hell about it.
I think I'll continue to work on my files until the day he is sworn in and get my news elsewhere for a while.

I've seen lots of praise for, let's say, the Cabinet choices Obama has made. I know I've been pleased with them, even if I have my reservations about Clinton. Obama's doing a fine job of being PE.

While his decision to have Rick Warren at the inauguration is distressing, no one ever hits 1.000.

So, while your idle little rant is kind of cute and terse, I do think you were really telling more about yourself than about anything you read here on DU.

7. First, broad-brush attacks are forbidden. Second, you are reading poorly.

While maybe every decision Obama makes is condemned by someone, very few of them have been condemned by a majority. Much Obama has done has made someone happy, and most has probably made the majority happy. Less than half of what he has done has aggravated more than half of those posting about him, and more than half of what he has said has made more than half of us happy.

This Warren thing is an exception. It angers most of us. There's no one I support so completely at anything that I will remain silent over an issue like this. Doesn't mean I'm unhappy with Obama. It means I'm unhappy with Obama doing this.

It's because he knows it matters who he chooses and what their views and record are.

Heck, you think it's just fine to represent what's happened so far in the transition as 'progress' but you can't seem to find room for anyone to disagree. What you want is blind trust and support. That's just not a responsible role for those of us who actually care about the details of issues and initiatives which will emerge from these players in his administration -- like the Iraq plan Petraeus and Odinero put out today which called for troops in Iraq past Obama's stated deadline.
