Cheney is spitting in our face and loving it..
Edited on Tue Dec-23-08 05:47 PM by XOKCowboy
He's now admitted to encouraging torture and saying that Dem leaders approved wholeheartedly to warrantless wiretaps. Today he admitted that he changed the "talking points" to out Valerie Plame and throw doubt on Joe Wilson's Niger trip. He's admitting to treason and daring Dems to do anything about it.

Will they?

9. Even more than Bush I'd love to see Cheney in the dock at The Hague
He's been a proponent of the Imperial Presidency his entire career. He even nominated himself for the Vice President once their little puppet Bush got nominated.

It was his policies (and Shrub's vendetta) that got us into Iraq and subsequently into the gas/financial/credit crises.

I can dream can't I of a day when he's put behind bars for his war crimes?

2. He's getting a pardon, what does he give a shit
I hope he suffers for the rest of his life. I hope he lives to be 150 and suffers.

16. Exactly. He is doing all this to implicate others, knowing he has a full pardon coming.
Rove will walk, too, despite the Connell situation looking worse every day.

Meanwhile, the Rethugs will gear up and call for impeachment of Obama by spring, at the latest. Pelosi will say that investigations of the Bush Administration are "off the table."

This is too easy to predict.

17. As noble a sentiment as that is, gray...
It is far more likely he will live to 200 and make us suffer.

3. He must know that the ink has dried on his pardon.

:grr:

He wouldn't have crawled out of his "undisclosed location" (inside Shrub's rectum) if he didn't have his "Get Out Of Jail Free" card in his Cayman Islands safe deposit box.

4. The ones in charge appear complicit.
That's only due to their inaction. I wouldn't trust Cheney as far as I could kick his headless corpse into a crowd of headless-corpse rapers. Taking his word for it is not an option unless he's being waterboarded. I hear that has saved countless American lives...really, I don't want to do it just to torture the scumbag.

12. So? and So What? The true Bush legacy
Al Quaeda not in Iraq till after we toppled Hussein? Bush's reply: "So What?"

Btw I thought that Cheney's favorite response was "go fuck yourself". Or "Oops I thought you were a quail". :)

11. It is hard to understand why he is doing it
No one in DC is ever going to go after him, or Bush. So why is he admitting to war crimes and treason? What's the point.

Doing it just for fun? That is something I can believe. The man is sadistic.

14. Me neither...
He seems proud of all of his crimes and like he truly believes that we're all in great shape because of his and Bush's actions.

Is he fucking blind? Our country is nearing a depression domestically thanks to his war and his NeoCon ideology and our reputation abroad is at an all time low.

He's either completely delusional (easy when your deferred Halliburton stock options are through the roof) or a sadist as you said.

His evil will catch up to him. You cannot piss this many people off and think you're invincible or untouchable.

My longings are for Dick to have his cyanide pistol bunker moment on live national TV. It would be especially delicious on Fox!
