Before the night is over, we'll be under two weeks!
My family bought me an electronic countdown calendar to "Bush's Last Day". I've been wearing a black mourning bracelet for eight years now! (They want me to get rid of the bracelet. I want a new administration safely installed and up and running before I remove the only form of protest I could think of eight years ago.) Anyway, I'm watching the seconds tick away with wonder on my electronic Bush's Last Day calculator. I truly never thought I'd see the day we were so close to the end of this nightmare! As I post, we're at: 14 days...6 hrs...43 min...16 sec!

YEAH!

1. I feel sort of like a kid at Christmas
The anticipation of something better than the last eight years is a wonderful feeling. Thanks for the countdown and please keep us updated. I mean we all know it's two weeks, but the minutes/seconds thing is great.

2. Well, technically it'll be a second after noon tomorrow when it's less than 2 weeks.
The new President is sworn in at noon. But I take your point, lol. I'm watching the countdown myself.

3. I am trying so hard not to be spiteful...
but my neighbors really pissed me off New Year's Eve with their anti-Obama remarks and mocking a celebration. NOW I want to have a banner in my yard. Or a huge neon sign announcing the end of the Bush regime. Or fireworks. Ya know, just something non-spiteful like that. :D

For those of us not lucky enough to have that cool electronic calendar - http://www.backwardsbush.com/code.php
