Palin on Olbermann: ‘THAT guy is EVIL!’»

Right-winger John Ziegler — who is waging a one-man crusade to prove that President-elect Obama won the election solely because of “media bias” — recently interviewed Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK). In a gushing description published on a new website devoted to making Hollywood more conservative, Ziegler details Palin’s reaction to seeing a photo of MSNBC host Keith Olbermann:

When she looked at the back cover of my first film…and saw the photo of one of the film’s targets, Keith Olbermann, she literally let out a shriek and, pointing to his photograph, declared, “THAT guy is EVIL!”

Ziegler wrote that, after the interview, “I know, with moral certitude, that the media assassination of (Palin), her character and family, was one of the greatest public injustices of our time.”

7. in all fairness, Sarah
not all of us can be so lucky as to have a witch doctor on hand to "purge" us from evil/witchcraft/whatever at all times.

She acts like such a seven year old. I'm surprised she didn't say "Eek".

I also read on the Huffington Post that Greta van Stalker from Fox wrote a blog post pissing off at CNN for including Palin on the "politicians who fell from grace" list" , so CNN fucking caved and REMOVED Sarah from their online list.

Blocking The Path to 9/11 documentary

In August, 2008, John Ziegler and producer David Bossie of Citizens United premiered a documentary co-produced, written and directed by Ziegler entitled Blocking The Path to 9/11,<3><4><5> which revisits the political controversy behind the ABC docudrama miniseries The Path to 9/11.<25> Through interviews with the Path to 9/11 filmmakers and others, news clips regarding the controversy, and footage from the miniseries itself, the documentary makes the claim that Disney/ABC ultimately shelved plans to release a DVD of the miniseries as a result of pressure from the political left, specifically the Clintons themselves. As noted in the documentary, Disney/ABC denies this and claims the move was merely a business decision.

Media Malpractice... How Obama Got Elected documentary

Shortly after the November 4, 2008 U.S. presidential election, Ziegler announced that a documentary titled Media Malpractice... How Obama Got Elected was in production. The premise of the film is that a liberal bias in the media led to incomplete coverage of Barack Obama and his campaign, leading to voters being uninformed about his positions and past actions.<6> A preview clip on YouTube of the documentary had garnered over 1.8 million views by the end of 2008.<26>

Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.com has criticized the polling methods employed on Ziegler's behalf in making the argument presented in the documentary.<27> Ziegler was interviewed by Silver on November 18, 2008, about this matter. (see partial transcript)<28> The polling firm Zogby International initially issued a statement defending its work.<29> After receiving more criticism, however, John Zogby, the polling firm's founder, stated that "I believe there was value in the poll we did. I also believe it was not our finest hour. This slipped through the cracks. It came out critical only of Obama voters".<30> Ziegler responded to this by saying "I’m outraged. I find this amazing. There was nothing wrong with the original poll. I’m the exact same person I was last week. The left-wing blogosphere basically demanded this."<30> Carl Bialik of The Wall Street Journal "The Numbers Guy" blog and Mark Blumenthal of Pollster.com called the poll "misleading".<31><32> The WSJ blog quoted Zogby as stating that he was on a book tour when the contract was reached and the survey was conducted, and he would not have approved the poll in the form that it took.<31>

The Wilson Research Center then conducted a follow-up poll duplicating the questions on the Zogby poll. Its press release states:

The survey, a follow-up study to an earlier controversial poll conducted by Zogby International of Obama voters, finds that McCain voters were generally more politically aware of issues and events surrounding the presidential race than voters who supported Barack Obama. The poll also found a direct correlation between media consumption, issue knowledge and voter preference.

The survey examined not just voter knowledge of campaign issues and themes, but the media sources from which McCain and Obama voters received their political knowledge. This survey, building on data from the initial Zogby study, confirms initial findings and suggests that not only were McCain voters more politically aware, but that their information sources gave them a fundamentally different set of facts about the election.<33>

Sarah Palin didn't experience a media assassination. She was a political Darwin Award winner. We didn't witness a murder, only a suicide.

onto everyone else by accusing everyone else of being what they ARE.

It's always the ones shouting "EVIL" and "TRAITOR" FIRST (because people finally get sick of it and fire back) who are merely projecting their own inner souls.

I never though I would say this, butthe Bushies showed me, they ARE evil, just like the Kinder and Gentler Nazis they ARE.

25. Sarah cannot abide criticism.
Edited on Thu Jan-08-09 02:02 PM by Blue_In_AK
A local Democrat announced yesterday that he was running for governor in 2010, lobbed a few criticisms of Sarah, and her press flack, Bill McAllister, immediately came out with a statement defending Sarah's every move. They would have been so much more classy, and looked far less desperate, if they had not said anything. The man has a right to run and criticize the governor however he wishes. Sarah's a spoiled brat.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- If Gov. Sarah Palin decides to run for a second term, at least one person has come forward to say he's ready to battle it out.

Democrat Bob Poe said he plans to seek his party's nomination for the next gubernatorial election in 2010.

Poe is a former state commissioner, and he previously served as the CEO of the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation.

He said he's ready to take on the state's top job, and he's doing it, in part, because Palin hasn't been paying enough attention to the needs of the state.

"It's a really big deal to most Alaskans how our economy moves forward and the role state government has in that," Poe said. "I'm concerned that right now there's not much attention to running state government, there's a lot of attention to running for something else."

But a Palin spokesman says the governor has been putting her foot forward with state issues since returning from the campaign trail.

"It is unfortunate that Mr. Poe would claim, counter to the obvious facts, that the governor is putting national political aspirations above her role as chief executive of the state," Palin administration spokesman Bill McAllister. "Since the election, the governor has spent less than a day out of state attending to partisan politics, and has rejected literally hundreds of invitations to appear on national television and radio programs and in the country's foremost magazines and newspapers."

Poe plans to formally announce his plan to run for governor during a press conference Thursday.
