Why do something so obvious as to broadcast to the world they're in control? Why do that when they are already?

And by they, I mean the various interests in this country that actual control things, not the politicians. The politicians are there to make us think we have a choice, but we never did.

1. If you were not involved in the choosing of candidates at the grass roots level, then blame yourself

2. Special interests do NOT control our government.

I mean, just because the Congress is shitting itself so much in fear of an organization like AIPAC that they voted nearly unanimously, when they're usually at each others throats, doesn't mean anything!

3. I'm not saying there isn't a problem, but we CHOOSE not to be part of the solution.
We vote these bastards back into office again and again.

We get the government we deserve.

4. I see what you mean, but the problem...
Edited on Wed Jan-14-09 11:07 AM by originalpckelly
cannot be solved with grassroots, it's a structural problem in this system as a whole. 535 members of congress in either house, cannot possibly represent the will of 300,000,000 Americans.

535 to 300,000,000.
The math is clear.
