Poll question: Who has done more damage? Bush or Cheney?

Note: I couldn't figure out how to ask this. Variations:

"Who has done more damage to the country in the past 8 years?"
"Who has done more damage to the world in the past 8 years?"
"Who has done more damage to the country?"
"Who has done more damgge to the world?"

1. Cheney did it but sucker bush is gonna take the fall for it
He allowed himself to be a figurehead for a gang of thieves for very little benefit to him. And now he'll be the one to pay.

Personally I think its funny as hell.

2. Cheney was the brains
Behind the stupidity of Bush, but without Bush Cheney wouldn't have been able to do what he did so I voted for Bush. And president with half a brain could have and would kept Cheney in his place and not allowed him to do the things he did.

3. You need an option for BOTH
Neither one is less bad than the other.

Won't having their pictures up like that blow out a circuit in the DU mainframe?

5. Hell, yes. They're pretty much an undifferentiated ego mass.
And an ugly one, at that.

6. Lives lost, destruction of property.
Diminishing hope, diminishing dreams. Economic woes. Environmental destruction. Etc.

10. I think it was more Cheney acting through Bush
Edited on Wed Jan-14-09 06:06 PM by Canuckistanian
After all, Addington was on Cheney's staff. And probably ALL of the Plame shenanigans. I seem to recall that Bush did his worst acts after being briefed by Cheney.

I think Bush is highly suggestible and Cheney can sound like the "voice of experience" while spewing utter crap.

11. Though I had to choose Cheney
the poll question is analogous to asking, "Which hurts worse: stepping on a nail or getting your foot slammed by a car door?"

17. Yeah, I look at it like this.
Cheney's been messin' shit up since Nixon/Ford, what was Bush doing in that time? Runing things into the ground, businesses, his life, etc. but they we'ren't public things. I think Cheney has been the most destructive overall.

13. BUSH! The buck absolutly stops with the President - Cheney is just a distraction
there is only one man in charge, there is only one man to blame. I don't give a shit what Cheney may have plotted to do and got done he was only able to do it through the power of the Presidency - and that was George Bush's charge - no one elses.

15. Bush delegated his responsibilities to Cheney
As such, Bush is doubly at fault. Once for delegating in the first place, once for the damages done.
