People, we are in for it ..... get ready for eight years of the Right Wing's Heavenly Chorus being catapulted by every media outlet in the United States.

Barnicle, the supposedly left leaning populist noozer who has a seeming lifetime gig on MSNBC palling around with their bigot brigade in the morning, defended Rushbo and chastised Obama for engaging on the topic.

Meanwhile, on the usually straight WTOP (DC's all news radio station) they played a clip of Melanie Morgan's opinion on the closing of Gitmo. They presented this right wing harpie nutbag without comment and with no counterbalancing comments from anyone else. In other words, Ms. Morgan was held up as some sort of voice of authority.

Where was the institutionalized left wing heavenly chorus during the last eight years of PURE INTELLECTUAL HELL?

6. I agree.
The vast majority of this country want "change" and they are willing to give Obama a chance. The "brain dead" who listen to Rush and the other talking idiots on the right are the minority. I really think that what they are doing, saying Obama "has" to fail", will backfire on them big time. There are way to many middle class republicans out of work, in debt, and ticked off at what has happened. I really think Obama can bring them in to his way of thinking, and when things do start getting better, it will make Rush and the other idiots look pretty small, and I really believe that their followers are getting fewer and fewer! It will take time, and it will take some compromise on our part, but the results will be worth it when Obama has brought both sides of the isle together in congress, and the majority of americans supporting him and his plans to change this country. Give him time, that's what I say, because it's what this country needs, UNITY!

7. yep - that's what I think as well....
everyone I know is scared and concerned about our economy...even people I know who did not vote for Obama wish him well and try to say something nice or supportive. The future of the GOP is very dim if they continue politics as usual. People voted for change and expect change.

2. Mike used to write bleeding heart stories for the Boston Globe
in the 70s and 80s. Then he just changed with the conservative times, especially after he got caught making those stories up. I guess it was easier being a hardass conservative than it had been to come up with sad sack stories week after week.

Plus, it probably paid better.

He's afraid Rush will criticize him. They are so out of touch.

www.Newsmax.com to see the paranoia setting in!

They accuse President Obama for setting the stage to rid the airwaves of conservative radio e.g Rush, Hannity, Beck et. al. with a new Fairness Doctrine. OMG! Please don't tell me that right wing radio has to be fair and bring in opposing points of view! :sarcasm:

edit: There are a couple of articles under "Inside Cover" on the left hand side of the page.
