2. Coleman lawsuit re Senate Election Recount

133 Physical ballots disappeared between being counted on election day and the recount in Dinkytown, Minneapolis (this happened but not enough to change the election)

Coleman wants all rejected ballots (rejected on election day and for the recount) counted. At the time of the recount Coleman rejected some ballots that were included in the recount but were judged to be wrongly rejected on election day by a second screening by election judges. This is only being heard because 1) A Ventura appointee recount panel judge would not sign off on the SOS instructions to county election judges so all votes were counted the same way and the same panel ruled that only ballots that both sides agreed on that were deemed wrongly rejected by county election judges the second time through were counted. Franken wanted all the ballots deemed now legal, Coleman wanted far fewer and they settled on an arbitrary number. Now Coleman wants them and all rejected ballots counted. The point is trying to make it look like Franken is cherry picking when the opposite is true. (Coleman camp was found to have altered ballots submitted as evidence last week prompting outrage by a GOP appointed judge but no ruling will be made on the veracity of the evidence until today.)

Coleman claims that some ballots may have been copied when they did not work in the scanner and that some of those ballots may not have been properly marked and were counted twice. (There has been no proof of this happening found by the news media investigations)

3. Will this bullshit ever end???
Edited on Mon Jan-26-09 01:57 PM by Liberal_Stalwart71
ETA: I see what he's trying to do. Should the courts reject his case, Coleman can go around shouting how the votes were never counted, and thus, Franken and the partisan Minnesota courts stole the election from him. :puke::puke:
