To those who have been studying the stimulus package

Is there any kind of break for those of us on disability? We mostly don't file income taxes, so the only governmental resource we have is Social Security with our monthly check. When the $300 and $600 checks went out, we did get the smaller amount, but it looks like tax breaks and a lowering of the government taxes taken out of everyone's checks is the driving force behind the new bill. But none of these, except an actual cash benefit, will help those of us even further down the line.

As I said, though, if someone has studied the bill extensively, it would be better understood.

1. The Senate added $300 checks

I thought Obama's plan added a small increase in monthly benefits. But there is something so hopefully one or the other will be in there. They're wanting to increase monthly payments so people will spend the money because they know they will keep getting it.
