Two half-sized aluminum sheet pans, professional quality, not 'housewares' stuff.

18 gauge metal. NSF label. The real deal. Most of the professional uncoated aluminum cookware out there today is made in Asia someplace.

I would have bought whatever they had (as if I have a choice). I'm really quite happy that what I found at the supply house was actual made in this country.

1. I have one just like it.
I got it at a restaurant supply store about 10 years ago. I love it.

10. No one's making new cars
new aircraft, etc. Once the global economy is in this mess the bauxite industry is fugged.
I expect riots anytime now.

6. I'm going to check out my Sysco store.
Figured they would stock Chinese stuff. I have somehow lost my good stainless steel baking sheet like this.

It's hard to find things truly US made. We decided to buy sheets and found a place that manufactures them in the northeast. When I asked where they got their material they confessed it was from overseas and says it is very difficult to find material made in the US. Uh, there's a heck of a lot of cotton down south. Somebody ought to be milling it.

If you want jeans, try Pointer Brand. Even if I pick the slow delivery option they are on my porch in under 24 hours. And returns are treated the same way. I have not asked them where they get their material, though, but they are definitely made in my state.

Or explode if exposed to heat.

Probably nothing to worry about.

11. I bought a pair of New Balance...
running sneakers. Made in the USA. Admittedly some of the components come from outside the US on some of their sneakers, but not all; and the shoes are made here. I think that's great.
