6. Sorry, Boxer introduced legislation to prohibit the private sale
of Monkeys and Primates across state lines. Coburn stood up and objected and said what a private citizen does with their property is their business. Next starts up about all the "dangerous" dogs and complained that Boxer never talked to him about it. Boxer went off. She said that they had try to get in talk about it with him for ages now and his staff didn't seem to have time. He was pulling the typical Coburn, I object and you have to talk to me, but I'm not going to tell you why and I won't talk to you crap. So Boxer said that she would be glad to sit down and talk with him about it, but basically said, Dude, what the hell is your problem, just a little nicer than that.

9. Well, Coburn certainly is a jerk but has there been an epidemic of interstate ape sales lately?
Seems like there are more serious problems to be spending time on...

15. Actually his parents were good friends of mine.
Papa Coburn was pretty much of a shit but his mom is a lovely lady. :-)

17. Someone must have switched their baby with an ape at birth.
Probably some top secret experiment.

14. It has something to do with the woman who got her face ripped off recently
Apparently having the chimp was not permitted in CT, I don't know what livestock law applies there. They just adjourned, so I think it was a test type of thing.

16. It's a public health problem- which, like most public health problems Republicans ridicule
This bill ought to have been passed last session when it was proposed-

8. ---Going into trance---
Boxer and Coburn are arguing the merits of a ban on owning primates as pets.

I'm going out on a limb here (ha!) and guessing that Coburn is against such a law, because it interferes with his God-given right to own any damn thing he wants.

---Snapping out of trance---

How'd I do? Was I even close?

12. Pretty Damn, LOL
The bill was based on whatever the State law was about owning Primates in that State. And you were almost right on about his god-given right to own everything. Also asks if "dangerous dogs" should be part of the bill. He was just generally uncooperative.

the Democrats propose, no matter how illogical cruel, or stupid the objection is.

They have nothing else except their little High School Popularity Club. And since they are no longer Class Kings, they just won't play with the other children. They just hang out together,, call us names, throw spitballs, and mope around because they aren't the Pampered Princes (I'm looking at you, David Vitter) anymore.

Expect this to continue through 2010, when if there's any justice, we will get a couple more Senate seats, and then we can just blow them off until they start to get their shit together (Which I doubt they can, since they've forgotten how a two party system works.)
