How about we all obsess over the "first dog".... again
It's been a while, so....

We now know it will most likely be a Portuguese water dog but we don't know what the name will be. As an owner of 2 dogs I strongly suggest getting 2 dogs. It is not much more work to have 2 than 1 since you still need to walk, feed and clean up after one. Doing for two isn't much different. Plus they can keep each other company when humans are not available. That said, my suggestion is to get one male and one female. Name the male Justin (nickname for Justice) and the female Libby (nickname for Liberty). Liberty and Justice in the Whitehouse, now that is change I can believe in.

4. I have 2 Labradoodles, both felames. One is 5 and the other is 3. They
are inseparable and keep eachother wonderful company. The only thing I would suggest is get two dogs but not at the same time. If you train the first dog well, that dog will be a model for the second dog. When they grow old, you won't lose both in a short space of time and you will have the surviving dog to comfort you. I've also found that as the first dog grows older, the younger dog keeps her active.
