Monsanto in the cold in EU states
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/index.php?sid=472776

Monsanto may not be able to introduce genetically modified maize into the European Union.

Bans imposed by Austria and Hungary have been upheld, with only four countries, the UK, Finland, the Netherlands and Sweden, pushing for the ban to be dropped.

The ban has been placed on MON810, a variety of genetically modified maize produced by Monsanto, the world’s largest seed producer.

The ban largely came about after environmental groups called for EU members to consider the environment, farming practices and their citizens’ health.

6. Do you know how many Congresspeople and Senators Monsanto owns?
They could sell candy-coated rat poison in elementary schools, and our Congress would figure out some way to subsidize it for them.
:grr:
