Just some quick numbers on Health Insurance in America
47 million Americans in 2006 were either on Medicaid or S Chip
38 million Americans wer on Medicare

That is 28% of the population right now is under government run Health care

At any given time and estimated 60 million Americans have no health insurance. Some people its temporary some its long term. That is 20% of the United States population.

That leaves about 52% of the population that has some form of health insurance. How many of them are under insured who knows?. How many are paying ridiculous premiums in the private market who really knows? How many of these people are having more money taken out of their pay checks for less benefits who know?

Just so we are clear. This is not 1993. In 1993 these numbers were not nearly as bad because more employers were covering their employees without any employee contribution.

Scaring people with a government take over of Healthcare when 28% of people are already depending on the government and another 20% have no insurance. Close to half. With this economic crisis and employees losing their jobs expect that number to move over the 50% mark.

1. Throw in Federal and Military Health Care Insurance
and the number gets even larger. Also consider State employees.
