UFOs photographed over London
for the DUERS that love UFOS

a spotting in London today
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/5007735/UFOs-photographed-over-London.html

Derek Burdon was left stunned when he took a scenic pictures of the UK capital then noticed four flying saucers on the far right of the picture.

Mr Burdon took the photographs 16 floors up on the roof top of Orion House in Covent Garden in the morning.

Although invisible to the naked eye, the shapes can be clearly seen on the picture.

Derek, 40, of Leverington, Cambs, said: "We couldn't believe it when we came to look at the photo. I just thought I would take some scenic shots of the London Eye and also Big Ben.

"There was nothing unusual in the photo and it was only when we flicked through them later that we saw them and then it started a big UFO debate.

"I have not tampered with it and you would not be able to fake it. It was taken on my mobile and I guess I am just lucky to have it. These shapes were not visible to the naked eye so it's not as if I was looking for them."

Click on view more images. Notice the recessed lighting. The view showing the upper floors indicate that "roof top" would likely be behind the windows. However. This building is only five stories, not 16, so even though the address matches  Where are our Brit friends?

33. I have a pic I took years ago while driving through a rain storm. A
beautiful double rainbow appeared so I took a picture through the windshield of our car.At the same time I snapped the pic the driver reached up to get something off the dash board. There is a reflection of a hand beside the rainbow. MAYBE, I could pass this off as the "hand of god" What do ya think?

8. I thought that too, but it says they were taken from a rooftop.
so either they are not being truthful, or there were windows on the roof and ceiling lights (which makes no sense to me)

10. If they were reflections from a window...
we'd see more than just the lights, like the reflection of people or furniture.

Besides, the picture was taken from a rooftop. No windows up on a rooftop.

12. If you read my post I pointed out that windows on a rooftop made no sense
so it is possible that they are not being truthful about where the picture was taken.

Also it is very possible that only the light source is reflected in the window. There may not be any people reflected because of the angles involved.

I am not saying that it is definitely lights reflecting on a window, only that it looks like it.

Also, if you were going to take some scenic shots of London, would you have a crane right in the middle of your shot? I know I wouldn't.

14. That's true
through I have been on roof tops where there have been plexiglass walls to keep people from falling or jumping. I've never been on this particular roof so I don't know what's there.

They just look like reflections to me.

I'll have to try an experiment tomorrow and see if I can get a shot of a "UFO" over Berkeley through my picture window with my dining room light on. During the day the light reflects a lot more than the furniture or people and the angle that the shot is taken makes a big difference.

29. Yes - "Rooftop" aka Rooftop lounge, picture through a sliding glass door.
I'm not usually a kneejerk skeptic about these kind of things but they're Soooo OBVIOUSLY ceiling lights. Why argue to the contrary and seek the LEAST LIKELY THING?

LAST I CHECKED - there are like HUNDREDS of people living in LONDON. :sarcasm: Don'cha think one of them would have NOTICED something like that?

He didn't remember seeing these things on the "far right"? OH COME ON! LIKE YOU WOULD *MISS* THOSE THINGS? "Far Right"? They're practically in the middle of the picture!

He didn't remember seeing these things? - JUST LIKE HE DOESN'T REMEMBER TAKING THE PICTURE THROUGH THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR.

I used to be a professional photographer. I've taken tens of thousands of pictures, and that was with film, and you had to pay for it. I've taken thousands of pictures where it wasn't until I saw it I caught this or that little thing, like REFLECTIONS.

16. "lens holes"?
Actually they look like solid light-colored objects, and they are consistent in size and form.

Often these are reflective artifacts created within the optics of the camera.

I have no idea on this one.

Aliens could land on the White House lawn and most of you would claim it's CGI. You have NO proof that the photo isn't real, you just decide off-hand it's a fake.

42. It's not up to the skeptic to prove that the photo is fake
It's up to the UFO-proponent to verify the photo's legitmacy.

Sorry, but that's how it goes. The UFO-proponent is making an astonishing claim and is offering astonishingly flimsy evidence in support of that claim. Given the importance of the claim if it were shown to be true, it is only prudent to demand stronger corroboration than a dubious photo.

43. If you believe we exist in a holographic universe....
then it's not that implauseable a theory to believe that there are other realms or realities out there not visible to the naked eye.
There is an infrared realm out there with objects that at times can be detected thru special military goggles apparently. Objects not normally seen through eyesight alone.
I'm open to the possibility that there is much more out there than is contained in our small 3 dimensional visible world.
I'm not saying unquestionable that those objects are UFO's. But I'm open minded to legitimate theories about the unexplained and will go as far as to say that I believe there other lifeforms out there which can travel thru parallel realities or universes at will.
Sometimes visible, sometimes not. Depending on the observer.
