It's nice to see just how astute, good natured, honest and likable KO is. He was great on Maher tonight.

And Bernie Sanders remains my favorite Senator.

The NYT finance columnist looks like a young Anthony Perkins. Not that that means anything.

1. Bill Maher is the modern day Lenny Bruce...
in my opinion.

2. If true, we really are living in the era of diminished expectations
He's no Lenny Bruce
Hell, he's no Honey Bruce

7. well, Lenny certainly paved the way for guys like Maher.
there are very few comedians today that shouldn't be paying residuals to Lenny's family.

9. I agree; they should all be paying residuals to his family
I just snort derisively when I hear about about other "edgy" and "dangerous" comics.
None of them have ever been hounded by the police and locked up because of what they have said.
One example: Bill Hicks not being allowed to do a routine on Letterman hardly compares to the type of harassment Bruce endured.

10. agreed. it always amazes me when
I hear how ignorant young people are of the contribution of Lenny.

At least George Carlin gave Lenny props. I wonder how many of the rest of these present day comedians know from whence they came?

5. This is the second time I heard Sean Hannity is a fake.
... That he really doesn't belive in the shit he talks about. He's just in it for the big paycheck. I heard this a couple of years ago on Air America from a source who knows Sean, and now Keith says it too.

I don't know who I hate worse. Oh'Really? for believing his own BS and possibly being emotionally unstable, or Hannity for being such a whore that he doesn't care what happens to the country because of his propaganda spewing.

6. I tend to think that opportunists are worse.
At least with an ideologue(like Beck and O'Reily) you can see where they are coming from. People who do anything for a dollar are more dangerous because they have no loyalty. That is just my opinion.

11. I think that show has gone downhill over the years. I miss his old show
The last few seasons haven't been so good. Last night was kind of OK.

I'm not a fan of the softer Bill. I liked it when he really used to go after people and not let up.
